WOOOO I got in with Crimsonsavi !!! Here's to a whole lotta role playing with new people and friends!!! ;v; Comment if you'd like to role play! I'll be working on a ton of drawings of Melisa for ALL the memes I must do them all

| PERSONALITY |

Positive ::

|Levelheaded|     No matter the argument or situation, Melisa can keep a calm, stable attitude. That is unless you mention something she's passionate about. (See Fiery, See Passionate)
|Optimistic|     Even in the worst of situations Melisa can find the positive in it! Have lemons? That's great! Lemons are delicious!
|Loyal|     If you befriend Melisa or are important to the mission, Melisa will have un-doubting loyalty. Sometimes this can blind her to do less then morally correct acts if the wrong person befriends her. Though sometimes she can see when something is blatantly evil.. (See Stubborn)
|Adaptable|     In many combat situations it is key to being adaptable. Melisa wasn't always this way though, but through discipline and practice she is able to see many different routes of executing a plan just by a quick look of the area. Of course, this isn't perfect and in lesser situations she tends to overestimate the faith she puts in her plans.
|Passionate|     This Buizel's passion is shown in her fighting and hobbies. When she reads and book she likes she will talk for hours on end without tiring about one chapter where it was just PERFECT. Her passion for combat and fighting is shown through moves she is comfortable with, usually putting her whole body and soul into her strikes or blocks.

Negative ::

|Stubborn|     If you're not her friend, Teacher, or family, she's not very likely to believe you or do what you say. Even then, if it's something she doesn't believe in or doesn't like to do, she's very adamant about cooperating. Melisa will likely do things her own way or find a way around doing something she doesn't want to, to still end up with the same results.
|Lazy|     Though Melisa likes training and fighting and going on missions, she treasures her down time and would prefer most of the time to just sit around the dorm with books or TV.
|Fiery|     Usually Melisa can be levelheaded and calm about stressful situations, however if you insult one of her hobbies or something she is passionate about, you're likely to get an earful of anger Buizel providing facts (usually opinions) about how great something is or how right she is.
|Impulsive|     Thanks to her adaptable trait, Melisa usually acts on impulse on what she feels is the best route. This can be detrimental in battle by acting before thinking, or can cause some pretty awkward social situations if she reads a "hint" wrong.

| BACKSTORY |

Childhood

Melisa grew up in a small, suburban home with her father and older sister. Her parents had been a weapon and meister pair when they were students at the DWMA, and fell in love then started a family. Their first daughter, Naomi Lepher, was born a weapon and they couldn't of been prouder. They had another child soon after in hopes that the little girl would also be a weapon so the two could always be together as a weapon pair, but Melisa was born with different plans. As a non-weapon, Melisa grew extremely envious of Naomi and refused to play with or hang out with her older sister. One night, a kishen soul broke into their small house when their father wasn't home, and without her weapon, their mother was killed and her soul was eaten. Melisa saw this happen and grew angry, then became calm. She called for Naomi, who, when seeing the scene, was horrified, however Melisa commanded her to transform into her weapon form. The two quickly bonded over fighting the kishen, until it got away. Naomi was still shaken and Melisa was still calm when their father came home. After a long explanation, their father Scott Lepher took the kids to a hotel and stayed there until they moved away to a smaller townhouse. Instead of being a broken man, Scott knew he had to take both parental roles. Naomi and Melisa grew up in a loving home, both becoming their own people. Melisa loved to watch her father build crafts and dollhouses, and Naomi excelled in her schooling. The hole of their mother 's death fueled Melisa into training at a young age, though she wasn't serious about it.

Young Teen - Older Teen

As her older sister grew up, she was discouraged from joining the DWMA by the trauma she suffered as a kid when her mother was taken by a Kishen soul. Against her father's hopes, she got into a regular college and left home to become a successful business woman. Melisa, however, was completely enraptured by this scary and exciting world. Scott and Melisa trained a little more intensely, preparing her for joining the DWMA. Now that it was just the two of them, they spent most of their time together building dollhouses (Scott would build them, Melisa was only passionate about decorating it with details). Finally, at the age of 16, Melisa was ready to join the DWMA! Her father was so proud and knew her mother would also be proud. She was all ready to go until her Father suddenly became ill. His body began deteriorating from a cancer that couldn't be cured. He hang in there for a while, but Melisa had to put her dreams of going to the DWMA to work and support her father's medical bills. Two years later, Scott Lepher passed away and the two sisters mourned his loss. He was buried next to the empty grave of their mother. Naomi returned to work and Melisa began training again. Once their father's medical bills were paid Melisa enrolled into the DWMA.

Young Adult - Present Day

A year later and Melisa was finally accepted into the DWMA at the age of 19. She was well trained for her age, but still had a lot to learn in helping the academy keep the kishen souls under control and protect the world. She now focuses on missions and being social, enjoying (mostly) everyday of being a meister.

.Extra :: Melisa would never tell another soul besides maybe her partner, but one of her favorite hobbies is making dollhouses and decorating them with the cutest, tiniest of furniture. Occasionally she will visit dollhouse shops to look at everything in the store and talk to the people who work there about her passion.

Ahh Melisa is adorable; I love her design and I'm a huge fan of Buizel, too!

I like the way you broke apart her personality into two sections; it definitely makes it easier to read and see her individual traits in a better light! I feel like she's pretty balanced, which is awesome

And then setting up her backstory the same way was awesome, hehe. B) It made it easy to read and see the different points of her life, ahh! I feel bad that she ended up losing both her parents, but at least she still keeps in tough with her sister! (The relationship tracker was a neat idea; I enjoy seeing her family members there as well as other DWMA students since I feel like most people (including me) forget about mentioning family members!)
And the little info about dollhouses is so cute, oh my gosh <3 Personally I think creating furniture for them sounds like a lot of fun, hehe
